🎯 About the Role
This UNPAID internship provides hands-on experience in delivering training sessions, tracking athlete data, and contributing to session planning. You'll work with athletes of all levels in a positive and safe environment.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🏋️ Support sports performance coaches in delivering training sessions.
- ⚙️ Assist with warm-ups and guide athletes through drills.
- 📈 Track athlete data and contribute to session planning.
- 🤝 Interact with athletes and maintain a positive training environment.
- 🧹 Assist with facility upkeep and basic administrative duties.
- 📚 Participate in ongoing education to enhance coaching knowledge.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Enrollment in or completion of a relevant program (Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Performance, Physical Education) is preferred.
- 💪 Foundational knowledge of strength and conditioning, exercise science, or athletic performance.
- 🗣️ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- ⏱️ Organizational and time-management abilities.
- 💯 Commitment to professionalism, safety, and ethical conduct.
- 🌟 Interest in pursuing a career in sports performance or coaching.
- CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain it.
💰 Compensation: No stipend
⏳ Duration: 6 or 12 months
