π― About the Role
As an Engineering Intern, you will work alongside experienced teams to understand manufacturing processes and improve products. You will take ownership of a project, from investigation and analysis to presenting your findings and recommendations to facility leadership.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
- βοΈ Improve production methods, equipment layouts, tooling, and work instructions.
- π Analyze defects, investigate root causes, and support product/process quality improvements.
- β»οΈ Study workflows, reduce waste, and help teams improve productivity.
- π€ Support projects involving automated equipment, sensors, or robotics.
- π Support product development, CAD modeling, design improvements, or prototyping.
β Requirements & Skills
- π Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a closely related field.
- π Interest in applying engineering skills to manufacturing challenges.
- π Willingness to work with data, learn new tools, and ask questions.
- π€ A collaborative approach and respect for the experience of production staff.
- π Ability to organize work, communicate progress, and take ownership of a project.
