Design Drafter Intern

🎯 About the Role

This internship provides a student with practical experience in design drafting using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. You will contribute to engineering projects, learn standard CAD practices, and support the engineering team with minor design tasks under the guidance of the CAD Manager.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📝 Create and update drawings based on Engineering Change Orders.
• 💻 Utilize PCB’s Standard CAD practices and tools (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD).
• 🏗️ Support Engineering with minor design projects.
• ✅ Review own work for accuracy and completeness.
• 📊 Maintain a work log to track assignments and progress.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 📚 Currently enrolled in and actively pursuing a two-year or four-year degree in Design, Drafting, or Engineering Technology.
• 💻 Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• 💡 Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling software is required.
• 🖥️ Familiarity with AutoCAD (preferred).
