Diagnostic Imaging Intern

Perform general diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing a computer-based system for patient record and image storage.

This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures on patients of all ages in various clinical settings. You will utilize a computer-based system for patient records and image storage, contributing to patient care within the hospital.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🏥 Perform general diagnostic imaging procedures on patients.
• 🖥️ Utilize a computer-based system for patient record and image storage.
• 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Work with adult, pediatric, geriatric, and trauma patients.
• 🏥 Perform exams in a variety of clinical settings within the Main and Children’s Hospital.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 High School diploma or equivalent.
• 🎓 In good standing in the Penn State ARRT Allied Health program.
• 🤝 Minimum six (6) months of clinical experience as a student in the radiology department.
• ✅ Must have passed all related exam competencies as set forth by program guidelines and ARRT.
• 🚑 BLS certification.
• 💻 Computer skills as well as working knowledge of hospital RIS and PACS system (preferred).
