Support the preservation and maintenance of the Potawatomi Language through digitization, database management, and audio/video recording.
🎯 About the Role
This summer internship involves various duties to aid in language preservation efforts. You will work with language documentation, contribute to database maintenance, and assist with audio/video recording projects.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 📚 Digitize language documentation
- 🗄️ Maintain language databases
- 🎙️ Assist with audio/video recording
- ✅ Perform other duties as assigned to support language preservation
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🚗 Valid Kansas driver's license and insurable with the Nation's insurance
- 🗣️ Two years of training in Potawatomi Language
- 🎓 HS Diploma/GED; currently enrolled in college or university with a minimum 2.6 GPA
