🎯 About the Role

This part-time internship offers hands-on experience in researching prospective customers, supporting existing accounts, and understanding the interplay of pricing, purchasing, inventory, and operations. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and sales teams.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 🔍 Research prospective customers, markets, and industries.
• 💡 Assist with researching customer growth targets and new business opportunities.
• 📞 Support prospecting and business development activities.
• 📄 Maintain and organize customer and prospect information.
• 🤝 Prepare information for customer meetings and sales calls.
• 📊 Assist with sales reporting and analysis.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 📚 Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably pursuing a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 📈 Interest in sales, business development, customer service, or the metals/manufacturing industry.
• 🗣️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• 🤔 Curious, motivated, and comfortable asking questions.
• 🎯 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• 💻 Comfortable working with data and learning new software.
• 👨‍💻 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
