FP&A Intern

Support the Financial Planning & Analysis team with forecasting, reporting, and analysis to inform leadership on business performance.

🎯 About the Role

This role provides hands-on exposure to corporate finance, including operating expense tracking, variance analysis, and dashboard development. You will work directly with FP&A team members and own defined recurring tasks.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📊 Assist with monthly reporting materials, forecast updates, and annual budget preparation.
• 📉 Support variance and flux analysis and draft driver explanations.
• 📈 Build and enhance dashboards, KPIs, and analytical tools.
• 🤝 Collaborate with various departments to gather data and validate assumptions.
• 💰 Assist with capital project tracking and reporting.
• 📄 Maintain data integrity and document processes.
• 💡 Provide analytical support for month-end close and special projects.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Actively pursuing a Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 📈 Foundational understanding of financial statements.
• 🧮 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
• 🔍 Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• 🗣️ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• 🤝 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• 📊 Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools preferred.
