Gain experience in agricultural operations and farm management by advising growers and supervising raw product handling.
🎯 About the Role
This role involves consulting with and advising growers on farming and harvest operations, as well as supervising the receiving and handling of raw product. You will help ensure production objectives are met and develop relationships within the agricultural community.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- ✅ Negotiate for raw product purchases.
- ✅ Monitor planting operations and assure proper seed beds.
- ✅ Maintain records related to contracting and consulting.
- ✅ Assist in training seasonal work force.
- ✅ Execute the department's safety program.
- ✅ Monitor growers' fields for crop production, weed growth & pest infestation.
