🎯 About the Role
This role involves working in a streamlined environment with the right tools to get the job done and minimize bottlenecks. You will collaborate with technical teams including scientists, electrical engineers, optical engineers, and manufacturing partners.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 💡 Create novel products by connecting scientific theory with engineering design.
- 🗣️ Convey why designs are good and appropriate solutions to client challenges.
- 🛠️ Build breadboards and refined prototypes hands-on.
- 📚 Take on challenges in new fields and quickly contribute solutions.
- 🤝 Collaborate on technical teams with diverse expertise.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 🔧 Broad technical background and the desire to learn more.
- 💻 3D CAD experience (Solidworks preferred).
- 🏭 Experience with a range of manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, etc.).
- 🩺 Experience designing biomedical products.
