This internship provides an opportunity to assist various programs within the Utah Office of Data Privacy, with a significant focus on developing new data governance models. You will engage in in-depth research, review, analysis, and summarization of legal and regulatory documents.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- ⚖️ Research, review, and analyze state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
- 🏛️ Examine executive orders, ordinances, and internal policies.
- 📖 Summarize court decisions and administrative rulings.
- 📝 Analyze proposed state or federal legislation.
- 📊 Assist in the development of new data governance models.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Current or recently graduated law student.
- 📚 Understanding of the relationship between various legal instruments.
- ⚙️ Familiarity with legislative and administrative rulemaking processes.
- 🧠 Ability to understand complex legal concepts and conduct efficient legal research.
- 📄 Submission of a resume and writing sample required.
💰 Compensation: $26.00 - $30.00 Hourly Wage
