Perform critical quality control testing using advanced analytical instrumentation for product release in the biorational products sector.
🎯 About the Role
This internship provides hands-on experience in a Quality Control lab at Sumitomo Biorational, a leading developer of biorational products. You will work with various analytical techniques and follow current good manufacturing practices.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 🧪 Testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
- 📈 Perform chemical testing using analytical instrumentation (HPLC, ICP-OES, CE-SDS).
- 🔧 Troubleshoot and administer simple repairs to laboratory instrumentation.
- 📄 Complete bench records and data entry.
- 🧼 Clean and maintain lab equipment and instrumentation.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 HS diploma or equivalent required; majoring in Chemistry or a closely related field desired.
- 🗣️ Good written and verbal communication required.
- 📝 Ability to write, comprehend, and understand written scientific procedures.
- 📅 Must have flexibility to work some limited off-shift and weekend hours.
