🎯 About the Role

This part-time internship offers hands-on experience in marketing and communications, focusing on sharing IALR's technical, scientific, and educational initiatives. You'll help create content, manage website updates, and analyze communication metrics.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• 📢 Report on activities, events, STEM programs, and research projects.
• 📸 Assist with photography and videography projects.
• 🧑‍🏫 Support facility tours with a focus on STEM-related activities.
• 📝 Assist with technical writing and content development.
• 🌐 Maintain and update website content.
• 🎨 Support graphic design projects.
• 🔍 Research technical journals and industry publications.
• 📈 Collect and analyze website and social media metrics.

✅ Requirements & Skills

• 🎓 Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an associate or bachelor's degree program.
• ✍️ Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail.
• 💡 Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• ⏱️ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• 📰 Familiarity with Associated Press (AP) style preferred.
• 🖱️ Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign, Photoshop) preferred.
• 🌐 Basic knowledge of WordPress or other website content management systems preferred.
