🎯 About the Role
This internship involves programming in R, Python, and SQL, applying data science and AI methods, and data analytics and visualization. You will work with both structured and unstructured data and present findings to internal and external clients.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 💻 Develop and test R and Python for data collection, processing, and analysis
- 🗄️ Develop SQL code for querying and managing large data files
- 🤖 Apply machine learning frameworks and natural language processing methods
- 📊 Develop data visualizations using various libraries and software
- 📄 Document code using Git and apply best practices
- 🗣️ Present findings to internal and external clients
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🎓 Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in math, statistics, data science, or related field
- 📊 Experience working in data science related projects
- 💻 Proficiency in R, Python, SQL
- 🧠 Demonstrated experience developing machine learning and natural language processing methods
- 📈 Proven experience using Git as a version control system
💰 Compensation: $25.00 per hour
⏳ Duration: Through December 2026 (20 hours per week)
📍 Location: Bethesda, Maryland (2 days per week on site)
