🎯 About the Role
This role focuses on executing high-precision manual mold modifications for New Product Development (NPD). You will translate design concepts into molds by managing shrinkage factors and draft angle accuracy, ensuring digital designs are validated through physical test castings and dimensional checks.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- 📏 Apply shrinkage factors and validate mold fitment and finish.
- ✍️ Prepare modification reports and provide input to the CAD Team.
- 🔧 Execute manual mold modifications to resolve issues found during trials.
- 🧪 Lead test castings of milled molds to identify output gaps.
- 📊 Perform "KANSA" checks and respond to deviations in production stages.
✅ Requirements & Skills
- 🛠️ Proficiency in manual molding, shrinkage factor calculation, and mold fitment analysis.
- ⚙️ Expertise in ceramic demolding processes and dimensional "Kansa" checks.
- 🧠 Adaptability for troubleshooting and strict focus on "Before/After" validation.
- 🎨 Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (Ceramic Industrial Design).
- 🏢 5-8 years in hand modeling and mold development.
- 💻 Expertise in Creo CAD (3D & 2D), Think Design, and Design X.
